Chugach Alaska Corporation celebrated 50 years of operation with an annual report centered on the theme “Duality.” The concept reflected the connection between the corporation’s Alaska Native cultural identity and history and its ongoing purpose of serving its people. The idea of reflection was woven throughout the design, from the updated logo to imagery pairing young people with ancient artifacts, symbolizing a connection between past and future. The cover brought this concept to life through a striking visual contrast: a young woman wearing traditional clothing on the front cover and the same woman in modern clothing on the back, representing the balance between honoring heritage and embracing the future.
