Educational Campaign

When the Conquer COVID Coalition launched in late December 2020, the nonprofit’s goal was simple: encourage Alaskans to face COVID-19 head-on and get it under control. Together with community organizers and business leaders, the CCC has hosted vaccine clinics across the city, organized informational campaigns and provided local businesses and the Anchorage School District with COVID safety messaging materials.

Since March 2021, the CCC has supported 24 COVID-19 vaccination events, resulting in 664 vaccines (and counting!) and contributing to Alaska’s 63.5 percent vaccination rate (as of 9/26/21).
