We win BIG at AIGA’s Big One
Every year, the national design association American Institute of Graphic Design gives awards for outstanding work at its ceremony called “The Big One.” A few weeks ago, Yuit Communications received awards for 26 different projects we created throughout the year. That’s an astonishing 100% of all projects we entered.
We’re thrilled to have such talented artists, writers and account-management professionals on our team, but we couldn’t do it without great subject material. Thank you to our wonderful clients for allowing us to communicate on your behalf. We’re proud to help you shine. Every one of Yuit’s clients does Good Work for our families, friends and neighbors by driving our state’s economy, protecting ancient Alaska Native cultures and providing compassionate services.
Our team’s contribution to the event went beyond our prize-winning work. Yuit Associate Creative Director Alec Wilber designed the theme of the awards show. He was inspired by the new motion graphics category added to the competition and created a cool/nostalgic style based on old-school VHS tapes. He even designed the prizes themselves, which means other agencies were able to take home a little piece of Yuit if they won.
Thank you to AIGA for putting on an amazing show at this year’s #TheBigOne. Here’s to another year of connection, inspiration and partnership.
